Back in the day, gay porn was chockablock with punny flicks like The Man Who Blew Too Much and Charlie’s Anal. Now it’s mostly straight pornmakers skewering mainstream movies, but they take all the wit out of it with titles like Avengers XXX.
Joining Jet Set Men—which still churns out erotic parodies like Jersey Score, Tosh.Hole and the inevitable 21 Hump Street—is new-ish paysite Men.com, which has the blogosphere chuckling right now thanks to it’s new adult masterpiece, Reservoir Dicks.
This erotic spin on Quentin Tarantino’s Reservoir Dogs re-creates one of the original’s infamous sequences by putting hot-bodied Gavin Waters at the mercy of Bobby Clark, Tommy Defendi, Rex Roddick and Mitch Vaughn.
Although this time, nobody loses an ear or gets shot (we hope).
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.
“When four secret service agents are busted for moonlighting as gay escorts, they suspect that one of them tipped off the Feds,” reads the press release. “A desk clerk at the CIA holds the secret as to which is the turncoat, but he’ll only tell on one condition: that the secret be fucked out of him!”
Tarantino’s ultra-violent, blood-spattered odes to grindhouse cinema might not seem like logical choices for a porn riff, but stranger things have happened (Cuckoo for Cocoa Cocks, anyone?)
All Worlds Video already took a stab at this concept with 2004’s Drill Bill, Vol. 1, but think of the possibilities: Jackie Brown-Eye, Inglorious Cum Basters, Pulp Friction.
Hell, Django Unchained practically sells itself.
Mr. Enemabag Jones
Men.com is run by a ridiculous straight woman, (married to a gay-for-pay “model”) owned by a straight porn company, and who believes that all gay men want to watch simulated rape videos devoid of passion, touching, kissing, or reciprocation. If this is what American gay porn has come to, I’m glad it’s failing miserably. Fucking hets have to stick their noses in everything we do.

is having 5 dudes in a flick really a full featured movie? i wish men.com would use new models. i cancelled my membership since they reuse every model to the point i do not want to see them again. i don’t know who runs men.com but they need to rethink how they make movies.

Uh-oh, I’m watching too much porn. I know every name, face and dick dropped in the article expect Bobby Clark.

@Mr. Enemabag Jones: Why shouldn’t a straight woman make gay male porn? After all straight men have been making lesbian porn since forever.
Laura D is not the first female director/producer of gay/bisexual male porn I’ve heard of, but she is actually the first straight identified one I’ve heard of. All the others identify as bisexual and/or queer or gay -they’re pretty rare, there’s around 5 or 6 of them. If you don’t like what Men.com produce don’t buy it. Just because you’re a gay man it doesn’t mean you are their intended audience. I don’t think they’re failing financially, far from it, someone is buying their stuff.
The latest female porn director/producer to start a gay/bisexual studio is Nica Noelle. She is bisexual and initially started out making lesbian porn only with Girlfriends Films using the name Sydni Ellis. She left Girlfriends and changed her professional name to Nica Noelle. At first she made just lesbian porn with her new studio Sweetheart Video. Then she later started making straight porn (Sweet Sinner studios)as well after she started developing a stronger personal sexual interest in men herself. She recently released her first TS-Girl porn movie with a new studio called TransRomantic. And a few weeks ago she announced she is starting a new studio called Rock Candy to make gay and bisexual male movies. If you’re looking for passion, touching, kissing, reciprocation and romance in gay porn you might actually like what Nica does with gay porn. Those are the elements she’s always gone for in her lesbian and straight porn movies, and I’m sure she won’t radically change her style when she makes gay porn.
Nica Noelle must be one of the top 5 most successful female directors in the American AE industry right now, if not the most successful in terms of sales.

@GeriHew:
“straight men have been making lesbian porn since forever” I think there is a big difference between straight men making girl on girl porn marketed to straight men and a straight woman trying to make porn marketed to gay men. I think she has the right to do it, just I don’t want to watch it because every time I go to a porn site I see tons of ads for Men.com and all the ads are about forced sex, coercion and rape fantasies.

First of all, the claims at the beginning that “back in the day” gay porn had punny titles and parodies and straight porn didn’t, but now that’s reversed is just complete and utter made up BS. But more importantly:
“When four secret service agents are busted for moonlighting as gay escorts, they suspect that one of them tipped off the Feds,”
That pretty much shows you that nobody involved in this project even bothered to watch Reservoir Dogs, since the movie is about a jewelry theft and has nothing to do with secret service or feds.
Rockery
I like the title LOL
Miss Manners
I like RESERVOIR COCKS from Staxus.
Flash Pants
“Reservoir Cocks” from Staxus Video came out last year.

@jacknasty: With all due respect you’re expressing a very one sided, monosexual, view on things. Human sexuality is very diverse and porn overall reflects this.
The market/audience for gay porn isn’t just gay men, the market/audience for lesbian porn isn’t just straight men. And the market/audience for straight porn certainly isn’t just straight people. There are different types of gay, straight and lesbian porn. And of course there’s all sorts of bisexual, trans and queer porn as well. All of which appeals or doesn’t appeal to all sorts of people.
I hope you read what I wrote about Nica Noelle. Her movies – lesbian, straight, bi-female – have always been categorized as “porn for women”. So they should be, even though the majority of her paying customers are men I’m certain, because she’s a woman and she has clearly always made the sort of porn she wants to watch. I expect to see her gay porn being categorized as “porn for women” as well as “gay porn”. And I’m sure lots of gay, bisexual & bi-curious men will buy it and enjoy it. As I said, you may find you like her work yourself.

Hmmm…it should have been titled, “Reservoir Dongs.”
