The Bashing Of Gay CO Soldiers Silenced By DADT Involves Lots Of Blood, Shame

The Colorado local news has finally caught on to the story about the two gay soldiers gay-bashed outside of a Colorado Mexican food restaurant. The injuries left one man with a fractured face and another with bruised ribs—the police have still not made any arrests. It’s sad that even though DADT seems poised for a imminent death that these soldiers and others still cannot come out.

NOTE: Soldiers pictured in thumbnail image are not the actual soldiers involved in this incident.

Why do they have to come out to file the charge? Can they not say it was an attack based on perceived sexuality? The attackers thought they were gay, which seems enough to consider it a hate crime regardless of actual sexual identity.

@Jim: They can file the charge and I believe they have.. they just can’t show their faces to the media because then they would out themselves to their unit.

Once the perps are found how long till you think they raise the “gay panic” defense. “Those homo’s looked at my crotch. I felt bullied and intimidated. I didn’t want to get butt fucked so we had to beat them”
