If you're male and don't have Gender Disphoria, the thought of dressing up en femme and wearing makeup is extremely distressing. Most sexual predators are not Gender Disphoric, and wouldn't be caught dead in women's clothing, even to gain advantage.

There are at least 90+ state, county and local ordinances that grant the right to pee in peace to transgenders, and those who don't fit neatly into the boy-box or girl-box.

There have been, to my knowledge, NO incidents of sexual attack in a restroom where the attacker took advantage of these laws to pretend to be the opposite gender and thus gain entry. None. Zero.

If it was so easy, why hasn't anyone tried it yet?

I hope someone goes to a public meeting on this topic with some womens clothing, and dares the FundeVangelists to demonstrate how easy it is to enter the restroom of the opposite sex.

I might be tarred and feathered for saying this, but I don't really think the ad is "sickening." It doesn't really attack transgendered people or their gender identity. It's really just a typical kind of silly scaremongering ad.

The ad just poses the argument that, theoretically, the ordinance eliminates sex segregation in restrooms because anyone could falsely claim to have an opposite-sex identity. Technically, that's true; there is no objective way of knowing.

The problem with all of this is that "Citizens for Good Public Policy" isn't really worried that the law will be abused, because, really, how often would that happen? It's just a disingenuous way to attack a law that represents social values they don't like. Which, in the end, is pretty typical American politics after all.
