The Bush Administration Produced a Whopping 6 Pages on Iraq's Gays

The total number of documents produced by the U.S. State Department on the torture and murder of gay Iraqis, between 2003 and May 2009, is two. The number of pages of both documents total nine; three of those pages are a reprint of a single news article. "There is no evidence in the documents that the department ever discussed the killings with the Iraqi government." Notes Hossein Alizadeh, regional coordinator for Middle East and North Africa at the International Gay & Lesbian Human Rights Commission (IGLHRC), to Gay City News: "The documents showed the Bush administration stance 'only making occasional vague comments about the high-level violence in that country (as an excuse not to pursue the issue further) when pressured by the media or NGOs (like IGLHRC).'"

What do you honestly expect? Before the second coming of Chenney which saw him reincarnated into a firm believer in gay marriage (basically the man is a brilliant politician and wants to follow the political spectrum as closely as possible) the whole bush White House would have put gay people to death in this country if they could have gotten away with it. I'm thinking they probably looked at these reports with envy not disgust.

Ok, I think I know where you are going with this, but make a point. This is not an article. In wiki terms, it is a stub. What a waste of a good topic of dicussion.
