The D.C. City Council Marriage Proposal Could’ve Been X-Rated

Remember Andrew Hertzberg? He’s the guy who proposed to partner Andy Rollman during the D.C. City Council’s hearings on gay marriage. Not only was the fella nervous about asking his lover’s hand in marriage (who isn’t?), but Rollman notes that had same-sex partnerships been more accepted, “I would have just jumped on top of you and tackled you to the ground.” Well, that would have been a scene.
