The Daily Show Has Become Your Main Source Of Gay News
First The Daily Show covered the epic gay battle between San Francisco and Minnesota. And now John Stewart is all over the spat over Judge Vaughn Walker’s fabulousness, Tennessee’s insanely stupid “Don’t Say Gay” bill, Gloria Allred’s very athletic anal sex demonstration. Stewart better watch out or pretty soon he’ll become one of the the most trusted anchorpersons in America… oh wait… he already is.
If he cares so much why can’t we see this clips instead of having to go to comedy central to read all the advertising??…just more talk because mainstream media isn’t doing their job…

The Daily Show has always been “gay friendly,” though sometimes I wonder what the hell is up with them having Mike Huckabee on so often as a guest and never really challenging his religion-based political agenda or his anti-gay rhetoric. By seemingly falling for Huckabee’s nice guy act they help normalize and mainstream his politics. It’s odd how little they challenge him.
Between the two, Stephen Colbert seems to be more supportive of gay rights, mentioning them more frequently on his show. Of course his character is supposed to be conservative, so his discussion of the issues is back-handed, exposing the stupidity of the Right’s arguments while seemingly agreeing with them.
