The Emerald City Glam Cocks: The Gays Brought Their Disco Balls To Burning Man

Aww, were you unable to make it to the heat and hedonism festival known as Burning Man this year? Luckily some folks journeyed to Black Rock City armed with more than bottled water and E: they brought video cameras. Meet Garet and Dusty, Seattle’s adventure seeking (sometimes nudist) boyfriends who go by “The Scenic Boys”, who with a dozen friends built The Emerald City Glam Cocks camp, a 20-foot structure completely with disco ball dance club on which to survey the land and the lads.

[The Scenic Boys, mildly NSFW: They're naturalists, after all. Learn more about 'em here.]

I love it! Burning man was always under that “Non-judgemental” label, but I love the in your face gayness that these boys brought to the event. I’m betting that a lot of semi-closeted or just out boys there had a great time heading over to that camp and dancing under that disco ball. Good for Garet and Dusty.

I had not heard of a Gay contingent at Burning Man much………..I had heard of lotsa hookups and such which I thought was confined to the hetrotypesex….. but what is the scene actually like for the homos?

@ Plays Well: The vibe is so friendly, fun and body positive! There were dozens of gay camps and every other camp is gay friendly. I highly recommend checking it out next year, just be sure to go with some veterans.
