The Golden Girls Meet Troop Beverly Hills, Plus Three Other New Music Videos We Love

With everyone frantically trying to predict the official song of summer ’15, we’re down to simply relax and check out some fairly new, indisputably great music. Scroll down to see a few of our recent favorites.

Jenny Lewis, “She’s Not Me”

Lewis, a former child actress who appeared on The Golden Girls and in the fondly-remembered comedy  Troop Beverly Hills, draws on both credits for the video for her latest single from her 2014 album The Voyager. Zosia Mamet, Fred Armisen and Vanessa Bayer lend some comedic assistance.

French Horn Rebellion, “Dancing Out (Blende Remix)”

The Brooklyn-based duo (who also happen to be brothers) have remixed their massively-entertaining album Next Jack Swing, Pt. 1, ahead of a nationwide tour. The new single features the missing-too-long vocals of ’80s hit machine Jody Watley.

Years & Years, “King”

Get ready to become obsessed with this deep-house band featuring out frontman Olly Alexander. They’ve already taken the U.K. by storm, where this single debuted at number one in March, and they’re poised for the same success in the states when their stunning debut album Communion is released in July.

Stewart Taylor, “Liberation”

Glam pop performer Stewart Taylor’s first single from his self-titled EP is a straightforward anti-bullying anthem about coming out and finding empowerment in self-acceptance that might appeal to fans of vintage Lady Gaga.
