The Happiest Batton Twirler In The World
For the first time ever, a gay and lesbian group marched in the Inaugural Parade, yesterday. Catch the Lesbian and Gay Band Association march past the reviewing stand playing that John Phillips Sousa classic, “Washington Post.” Along the route the band also played Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy”, R& B classic “Hold On, I’m Comin’â€, The Wiz‘s “Brand New Day” and another Sousa piece, “Manhattan Beach.”
The drag queens contingent at the end was really a special touch.
How exciting!!!! But what does it mean if one tilts his/her beret to the left? Right? Center?

A band that plays anything from “The Wiz” has my love. Forever!
They’re not just pretty! They can play (very well) and march at the same time too!

Mobile Alabama Trail Maids bringing up the rear is the funniest damn thing I’ve ever seen. Must google now!

Those girls in the pastel colored costumes weren’t drag queens. That was the next group of people marching in the parade, the Mobile Azalea Trail Maids from Alabama.
