The Hunt for This 22-Year-Old New Yorker’s 5 Gay Bashers

On March 2, five men gay bashed a 22-year-old man in New York, screaming gay slurs at him as they assaulted him after spotting the victim leaving a party, say police. City Council Speaker Christine Quinn is already delivering the soundbites, which is a good thing, because this draws media attention and increases pressure on police to investigate. Which they are doing; the Hate Crimes Task Force is involved.

The victim, kicked and punched last Tuesday evening, has been released from the hospital.
