The King’s Speech Snags Smut Site For Exposing Porn Set Scenes (Smirk)

This is actually a pretty good April Fool’s joke, and it might be our favorite of the day: The porn blog QueerClick.com says (link NSFW) it was sued by the producers of The King’s Speech for pointing out that many of the film’s scenes were filmed at the same place as a gay porn flick — with legal papers filed the day after the movie won the Oscars for Best Director, Actor, and Picture. The opposing parties supposedly settled for $200,000, with The King’s Speech‘s production company Bedlam Production taking over the website later this month. Heh. Cute guys. (Note that the comment thread is free of any mention that the post could be a prank. Mod skillz!)

How could anyone believe that for a second? How can you sue someone making a fact public ? Even in the UK they have freedom of the press (tho admittedly not the extent we do here)
