RR is the ONLY reason this debuted in the top 10 or even 20 for that matter. Sandra Bullock hasn’t opened a top 10 movie in over a decade. This film is dreadful, nothing original tons of easy reach plot devices and dull as hell.

Ryan Reynolds is nude in almost every single movie he has done. The solution is to cast A list Reynolds with A list (chose a female) and then throw in a golden age star. This movie just had a dream cast. I can’t wait to see Reynold’s movie with Julia Roberts.

@ggreen: Sandra also hasn’t done a decent movie in quite awhile. i don’t think Premonition was about to open in the top 10. Hell, I love Sandra and she is by far in my list of top 5 actress, and I still couldn’t watch Premonition all the way through.

The film wasn’t dreadful at all, it was incredibly funny. Also, for any major studio production like this to not debut in the top 10, or even top 20 is…uh…impossible.

That’s why I was shocked when they hyped up Sandra Bullock having the best movie opening ever. Ryan Reynolds is the star of this movie.
You know, I think having Ryan Reynolds naked would be a solution to marketing political satires. War dramas. Science fiction. Horror. Documentaries. Cartoon shorts. Deodorant. Suicide booths.

Worked on me. X-Men Origins could have done so much better if there was some Wolverine on Deadpool action (pre-mutilating experiments of course.)
