The Podiatrist Who Cites His Christian Beliefs To Avoid Touching HIV-Positive Feet

The chances that touching a HIV-positive man’s foot would get him infected was enough to scare a Christian podiatrist out of fulfilling his oath to medically treat other human begins. And so Steve Hardie now appears before London’s Health Profession Council on claims that he discriminated against gay men, sometimes asking a colleague to switch patients with him because, ewww, HIV is grody. Then there’s the time Hardie allegedly walked out of a training session because he thought the instructor was coming on to him. Or how about the time he made one “effeminate” patient wait an excessive amount of time for his appointment and refused to properly examine an ulcer on his foot. UPDATE: He’s been banned from practicing for a year.
