I hope someone is watching out for Nicky’s interests… Whitman was likely duped, but it does bring into focus the lose/lose situation of anyone trying to immigrate legally into the US.

Once again, queerty repeats the right wing talking points. Whitman was notified in 2003 by the Social Security Administration that there was a discrepancy with her employee’s SSN.
She did not just find out in 2009. Whitman fired he then because she was running for gov. She found out in 2003.

This worker made $23 per hour, about $14.00 more than AT&T’s hourly wage for entry level and $2.00 less than TOP RATE. She earned $47,800 per year. I run a business that bills 23 per hour and TONS of people want my job because it’s interesting and ~fun.

Allegedly, Whitman received a letter from SS, gave it to the worker to resolve, and so what if she forgot about it thereafter? Do you even know what the arrangement was with the employment agency?
