The Reason the Senate Won’t Be Discussing DADT Anytime Soon?

Because the Pentagon asked them nicely.

Military minions of President Obama — who will discuss, in his State of the Union address, the discriminatory military policy he promised as a candidate to repeal — asked Senate Armed Services Committee chairman Sen. Carl Levin to stand down on holding hearings until the president can give the nation an update. Which explains why the hearings, quasi-scheduled for the end of this month, aren’t on the calendar. Which is understandable; let the commander-in-chief take the public lead on this one. For now. But when his speech wraps up around 10pm on Wednesday, let’s put this little affair back on the books. In the meantime, we have a feeling we know who these “senior Pentagon officials” might be.

Knowing that we won’t get DADT, we should demand immediate troop withdrawl with a Peace and Justice coalition of groups marching before the mid-terms for maximum Democrat effect. People die for their country without rights!
