The Spice Girls’ cry of “girl power” was such a gimmick, it’s not funny. It was also fake. Their manager/record company bosses/agents were male. The Spice Girls appeared to be male-directed females masquerading as empowered women. Fake, fake, fake.

All they really did was prance about with not much clothes on while talking loudly about female empowerment notions that, on closer examination, were fake. And I haven’t even started on their inability to actually sing. Hope your stage production flops, girls.
