The Today Show’s Gay-Friendly Wedding Contest Is Stirring ‘Heated Debate’?

I’m having a hard time finding the “heated debate” mentioned by papers like the LA Times over the Today show opening its wedding contest to gays.

Oh, the newspaper means the Today show’s website, where random Internet trolls are allowed to post nonsense to their heart’s content? That doesn’t equal “heated debate.” It equals “regular Internet behavior.” And while the equally trolly Catholic.org has some stupid things to say about the whole matter, I’m still unconvinced of the controversy created by opening the contest.
