The Trailer Made Him Do It

Most hate crimes perpetrated against gays are legit but every now and then there’s a bad apple in the basket. Well this time we have a big old flaming fruit in the mobile home. Back in July gay Floridian Christopher Robinson’s trailer had been torched and tagged with feel-good phrases like “Die fag.” And it wasn’t a bunch of Germans labeling the front door to his place “The fag.”

The cops investigated the apparent hate crime but the trail led to Mr. Robinson himself. He’s fessed up to everything. No word on a motive just yet but all signs point to insurance fraud.

Still, you can’t help but feel a little sympathy for the guy. If we lived in a trailer park somewhere between Orlando and Sarasota, we’d want nothing more than seeing it all go up in a blaze of glory, too. It’s no way for a queer to live.
