Saw a production of Misery at Syracuse Stage. Don’t know if it’s the same book, but I’d guess so.

Competent production and much creepier than you’d think, but the Annie Wilkes was physically miscast. She was tall and lean, and AW is specifically written in the book and the movie as a heavy, imposing woman. It diluted a lot of the tension.
