War, I thought, was the most negative aspect of male heterosexuality. If more men were homosexual, there would be no wars, because homosexual men would never kill other men, whereas heterosexual men love killing other men. They even get medals for it. Women don’t go to war to kill other women. Wars and armies and nuclear weapons are essentially heterosexual hobbies.”
— Noted pacifist and ambiguous man-lover Morrissey speaking with Rookie magazine.

They might gossip about the other squadrons, which can be quite hurtful at times.

Morrissey is a idiot trying to sound smart.

What a freaking idiot.

The ancient Greeks and Romans would be surprised to hear this theory.
But of course, they didn’t have the whiny music we had in the 1980s.

Seriously doubt that. He assumes some very wrong stereotypes. Being gay or straight is
irrelevant to his nature of men. Just ask Alexander the Great and some may gay
dudes in the military, etc.

@rlk: Don’t forget Julius Caesar, James I, Louis XIII, Napoleon, Hadrian, Tiberius,Nero, and literally hundreds more. Napoleon was certainly no make peace not war guy! Morrissey needs to do a bit more research.

Did he ever come out? Or are we still waiting?

Alexander the Great might disagree with this theory.

I’ve got two purple hearts and a bronze star. I served because my country needed me. War isn’t always a necessary ends to a mean, however it is, at times, needed. I served in both theaters of war over my past five years of service and I’ll say this; Men and women, straight, gay, bi, etc., do what we need to do. Sometimes war is necessary because diplomacy fails.
