Right on, Desdemona. I’m so tired of Bible-spouting bigots trying to justify their prejudice by quoting the Bible. Don’t they know that there is supposed to be a separation of church and state? But unfortunately, I’m afraid that many people do indeed still believe this crap. Organized religion and the Bible do more harm than any other single factors in our civilizaton. Religion has no place in government. But the Religious Right seem determined to keep stirring the pot with their religious bigotry. They need to shut the fuck up!!!

I don’t understand why they can’t just keep this deluded BS in church where it belongs. I honestly don’t give a damn what they do there, because just as we have a right to think they are deluded and brainwashed, they have a right to wallow in their ignorance. But they seriously need to realize that religious beliefs have no place in public domain, and that the rest of us don’t give a rat’s ass what their god(ie, the voices in their heads) has told them what is right and what is wrong.
