A very cute gay couple competing on Italy’s Got Talent decided to come out as their big finale after performing an elegant (and shirtless) interpretative dance.
There are no subtitles, so if you don’t speak Italian, you’ll just have to let their nervous gestures and the emotion in the room after they come out do the trick. The dance is at the beginning, and the stuff that’ll give you the feels starts at the 4-minute mark.
LGBT people still face homophobia and discrimination in Italy, so bravo to these two cuties for standing up and coming out.
Bauhaus
Bold, brave, and beautiful. Bravo!
Russell David
I think it’s safe to say they came out *by* performing interpretive dance.
Stached1
Congrats to them, they are handsome.
Tristan Halstead
At what point will Ellen have them on her show?
Jacob Owen Burger
I’m gonna go ahead and say coming out for them was a bit redundant.
Daniel Sergi
Bravissimi!!!
Daniel-Reader
Graceful and powerful.
ingyaom
Umberto & Roberto – cute.
SteveDenver
I am in tears, that was beautiful!

Their love and affection for each other is sweet, touching and purely human. Without words, it was the most original and effective way to come out I’ve ever seen. It took a lot of courage to bare their souls and just be themselves in the most intimate way on national television.

Thanks Sablemann for sharing the clip with subtitles, even more poignant. Not often dance can deliver such a pure and loving message for me…their dance was powerful. Wishing them the very best in their future.
Billy Budd
Beautiful. Incredibly cute and moving.
sfbeast
Much better with the subtitles. Thank you so much Sabelmann.

@Sabelmann: Damn that made me cry. Thanks for posting the translation
Chris
@Tristan Halstead: Ouch!
I wish I had thought of that.
sdsinmpls
A beautiful and brave expression of “Love is Love”. Amazing.

@Sabelmann: Thanks for the translated version…I saw this on Saturday & thought both of them were named Roberto. Not sure how far they will go on a show like this, but their dance alone was expressive and beautiful…and they seem good natured. Good luck Roberto & Umberto!

@Sabelmann:
well now im in tears.

@Tristan Halstead.
Typical Theatre-Manhattan dweller. A snarky & overbearing gay mans attitude from that scene. I visit and always meet really nice, fun guys. But not from your stuck-up crowd. Neil Patrick Harris, his husband & boys live here mostly. Matt Boemer too. You’re too Fierce in Drag performing to see two skinny cute guys really in love I guess. I live in LA, we have your type as well. Just not so ‘out’ in mean spiritedness.
LuckyboyLA
And @ Chris, ouch really? Wish you’d thought of comments that nasty yourself?
Sabelmann
@scotty
I was too!
Frederick M. Weisinger
