Gay marriage proposals seem to be getting more and more elaborate, but a cycling studio flash mob wedding proposal is definitely one we hadn’t seen before.
In Connecticut, Joyride Cycle instructor Adam Keller made sure his spin instructor boyfriend Jared Marinelli would never forget this particular class, setting up a joy filled wedding proposal guaranteed to melt even the most hardened of gay hearts.
The less said about the surprises in store the better, but we guarantee this proposal is worth every second of the 4-minute running time.
Watch the video below, and think of how you’re gonna top this when you finally decide to put a ring on it.
How about we take this to the next level?
Our newsletter is like a refreshing cocktail (or mocktail) of LGBTQ+ entertainment and pop culture, served up with a side of eye-candy.

Americans love these hollywoodian type of proposals. I must admit it is kind of cool.
Hussain-TheCanadian
If my future boyfriend does this to me………………………….I would be so embarrassed – I would prefer something more intimate, more private, just me and him (blush).
Billy Budd
@Hussain-TheCanadian: I agree with you. But we are not Americans. They like to make a show of everything. Even war.

@Billy Budd
Stop generalizing like that. I’m sure there’s quite a few americans out there who would have done this differently. It’s always dangerous to generalize…
I personally found it embarrassing and very sweet at the same time… So sweet it brought tears to my eyes.
Paco
Always nice to see two people make a commitment to one another.
Tackle
That was so over the top. Just ridiculous… It just seems like we have a generation of people doing things to be put online: Facebook/YouTube/Instagram…
Paco
@Tackle: Human vanity and the need for social approval isn’t anything new. This generation just has a bigger audience now thanks to technology.

@Aranos:
Yeah mine was far less over-the-top. I was the “akser” or rather the “teller”: “It’ll get you on my insurance,” versus the piece’a shit witch doctor-and-leeches coverage he could afford.

@Billy Budd: So says one of the biggest creeps on here…go eat some cake Billy.

Thats it I am off to animal shelter to get a cat.
Billy Budd
@DerekR: You are trying to offend me just because I said a truth about Americans. You are experts in making life turn into a show.

Teacher’s pet.
Black Pegasus
@Tackle: Agreed! It’s become so cliche and nauseating to watch. I don’t even click on those Youtube coming out videos anymore. Every one wants to be seen and it’s painfully obvious among gays.
XzamiIio
White privilege.
Chris
Yeah, it was a show. But your heart would need to grow three sizes if you weren’t moved, even a little, by the love and emotions that underlay that show.
BadBoyTKF
@Stilinski26: LMAO!!!!
avesraggiana
What’s the name of the song?
sfbeast
That was fun. Plus the whole group is in such great shape.
Stilinski26
@XzamiIio: so proposing to someone you love is now a white privilege?

@Stilinski26:
It’s a spoofed account of a real poster on here. The real Xzamilio has a link to his blog and wouldn’t say something so trite.
silveroracle
It was so lovely.

@Glücklich:
LOL, yeah, that’s more like my approach to this. I once asked a friend “Shouldn’t we marry? I mean we’d have to pay less taxes!” (You get to pay less taxes here in Germany when you get married)
