Back in April, some candid photos of Noparuj Mond Kaendi, an ex-creative director of a Thai modeling agency, and model Thorsten Mid holding hands in a Bangkok skytrain went viral in the worst kind of way.
A barrage of nasty comments poured in, proving yet again that some people simply can’t contain their deep-seeded racism and homophobia from the comfortable anonymity of their keyboards.
Well judging by the couple’s recently shared wedding photos, all that hate couldn’t stop them from continuing to show the world what love looks like.

I wish I can see what some of the actual comments were when the original photos first went viral. From what little I read of the second-hand reporting, it has less to do with racism and homophobia, but rather look-ism and just plain envy/jealousy. Doesn’t make it OK, of course.

@spiffy: yes it has more to do with the perceived disparity in terms of attractiveness of the two partners.
Some have called it a Disney love story.. Then went on to say “Beauty and the Beast” specifically.

@Glücklich: lol dont worry, you are not the only one. Yes this is not about homophobia or racism but more of bitter men and women who are jealous/envious of them.
And it’s not totally out of spite too i think.. mostly just out to get cheap laughs at their expense. I know some people even go as far as say that “World peace is possible” if this couple became a possiblity
