Remember that totally awful six-year old singer that everyone except for our editor thought was the best thing in the world? Well, she’s got some competition, because this 15-year old chick from the Philippines does some incredible things with “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going” from Dreamgirls.
Awesome for her age! Sadly, the subtitles stole the show.
The show and this girl are from South Korea, not the Philippines.
Matt, you are partially correct. The girl is indeed Filipino, but she is on a Korean show.
Don’t let Jennifer Holiday see this – she will hunt that little girl down and destroy her.

Amazing, just fucking amazing. Especially since it’s obvous that English isn’t her first language (or even 2nd?). She’s going to be on Broadway in a year.

Matt, the girl, Charice Pempengco, is from the Philippines and was invited by the Koreans to guest on their show.
She was a runner up to a local TV singing competition (ABS-CBN’s Little Big Star)here in the Philippines. She lost to a young boy who’s not even half as good as her.
Far out…thought she was lipsynching at first. That’s amazing.
