With Queerty it’s ALWAYS somebody real young. The Advocate was never like this years ago. When I was in my 20s I was interested in all ages of guys, for friendship and sex both. I get the feeling that guys under 40 are going to have BIG problems with the age issue. This publication is really far from any type of mainstream, interesting.

@wpewen: I once felt the same way until I learn to see it (Queerty) for what it is: a mouthpiece for the young, self-centered, me me, me me gym types. Abs, six pac and buns are all that matter. Or worse yet, who can pass for something they know damn well they are not (hint, wink, elbow nudge, Jenne….). Yes, shit like that gets priority as for trying to look or be passed off as news.
Don’t even think of wasting your time looking for intellect here either. You are dealing with a crowd who don’t realize the importance of actually taking a PENCIL or PEN and writing something, as in a letter or so, instead of a tweet or an email-text. Lets not even go into looking at the news on television or reading an actual hard copy print newspaper or magazine that isn’t filled with pictures of twinks on every other page but has news from around the world instead.
I laugh long and hard at the comment section, the majority of which are loaded with so many pathetic comments it seems like child abuse more or less to respond back to many of them. I am two years shy of sixty and look back with absolute joy that I came along at the time I did. This bunch is never going to be able to retire, see the last payment on any type of home, have a job that pays a living wage……………..yes, this is what you are dealing with here on this site.

Queen, Grace Jones, Bowie and Björk? It’s fascinating what tops other people’s favorite list. Individually, I could see most of those near the top of someone’s list, but all of them? I didn’t know Grace Jones was that prolific (in fact, until a couple of weeks ago I didn’t know she was a singer at all. I always heard her name but just thought she was famous for being weird-looking, maybe as a model).
