Feel The Rhythm

This Is How Deaf Model Nyle DiMarco Learns To Slay On “Dancing With The Stars”

Nyle DiMarco is gorgeous, “sexually fluid,” and breaking barriers for deaf people as a competitor on the current season of Dancing With The Stars.

Thanks to a little bit of corporate synergy from Good Morning America (because, duh, both are on ABC), we’re able to learn what goes into making the moves that are getting him consistently high marks from the judges.

DiMarco and his dance partner Peta Murgatroyd have come up with a system of eye contact and touching signals that help him keep up with the beat that he can’t hear. And Murgatroyd feels like he may even have an advantage!

It’s a very interesting three-minute look at DiMarco’s newfound celebrity and a peek behind the scenes of DWTS, and you should definitely check it out.
