West Bronx News' BronxTalk host Gary Axelbank on NY State Senator Ruben Diaz, whose posted ads in local Bronx papers that screamed "NO to gay marriage." Diaz is part of the "Gang of Three" who sought to prevent the NY legislature from debating any gay marriage issues. After political pressure forced the other two State Senators to back down, Diaz is the moldy homophobic cheese that stands alone. Watch the video op-ed after the jump.

Yummy. I love NY politics. Obviously, I would have hoped that getting rid of Joe Bruno and having a pro-gay rights Governor would have pulled NY into the 21st century…

But I'd be wrong.

I think it is time for an all out attack on religion, in much the same manner as they see fit to attack anything they do not approve of.

Yeah…attack all religion universally, even the churches and synagogues that support same-sex marriage and have LGBT members. Ban all religion so that it looks like China and Stalinist Russia…and then wait a few decades for the emergence of cults and retrograde, fundamentalists to pop up claiming FOR REAL that they are oppressed.

Do any of you live in the modern world? Or are you still stuck on 20th Century stupid?

I was on bossip (black gossip)someone posted a homophobic remark and a bunch of people broke it down. It is easy to think everyone is against equality when you hear assclowns like Gary Axlebank. More and more it becomes clear we are at a tipping point in the country and the conservatives cannot stop the fact that gay equality is taking over the consciousness of the average American slowly but surely. Reading these comments made me feel good. You have to scan down a bit but it is a nice reminder that the idiots and assclowns will lose.

I'm a christian and I say tax any church that wants to play in politics. Church is for people to worship PERIOD The second they start using church money to persecute people and make public policy they cease being a church and become a political action committee and PAC's pay TAXES. I think the Mormon church should lose their tax exempt status immediately they can have it back when they stop funding political campaigns what does that have to do with God? Nothing
