Tiffany Outs New Kids On The Block’s Jonathan Knight. Not That He Cares

Did Tiffany just pull a Carrie Fisher? While Fisher purposefully remarked that everyone knew John Travolta is gay and that he should just come out already, the 80s singer may have merely, uh, let it slip that New Kids On The Block boy bander Jonathan Knight is family. Not that any of you will be shocked!@##$$!! UPDATE: It appears Knight isn’t terribly upset.

On Thursday’s Watch What Happens Live, Tiffany told Andy Cohen she was once involved with Knight — and then goes on to describe him as “the quiet one. The shy one. He’s fabulous. But he became gay later.” Not missing a beat, Andy responds, “Did you turn him?” And then Tiffany reveals the obvious clues: “No. I had issues with that, I was thinking maybe I did. But no, now looking back when we were dating, he was so much fun — we used to do facials together, he was so easy to talk to, and he was fabulous.” (Chimes in fellow guest Debbie — sorry, Deborah — Gibson: I had gay BFs too!)

We used to live in such simpler times, when it wasn’t old celebrity pals but the National Enquirer that outed you. But maybe Jonathan is okay with this? We’re hearing murmurs about him expressing interest in Howard Bragman’s new A&E show Coming Out. But we’ve also heard word that Knight is ready to go public since at least 2008.

UPDATE: We should’ve checked Knight’s Twitter account first. Though he doesn’t come out in a tweet, or confirm what Tiffany said, he does come to her defense — signaling he’s just fine with his sexuality being out there.
