Tila Tequila, known for her hard-partying ways and love of both genders, checked out of a hospital yesterday after a weeklong recovery from a brain aneurysm and subsequent drug overdose, a source tells RadarOnline.
The 30-year-old starred in two seasons of the MTV reality show A Shot at Love in 2007 to 2008, from the same producer who would later bring us the Jersey Shore. In the show, a number of straight male and lesbian contestants compete for Tila’s bisexual affections.

Tila suffered a brain aneurysm in the middle of the night, which caused her to think irrationally. Due to the pain, she took two bottles of unspecified heavy prescription drugs.
“Tila threw up all over her bed after overdosing and felt like she was dying. She was screaming for help, and in desperation, broke her bedroom window and attempted to jump out,” the source said.
“Finally a friend came over after getting a strange text from her and found her convulsing on the bed. He called an ambulance and she was taken to the hospital.”
Apparently she may have permanent brain damage and still can’t speak properly, which is sad.

Funny, most doctors will only write a prescription for heavy painkillers for a small amount. Interesting that she happened to have two bottles of “Heavy” painkillers just sitting around the house.

@honeybear: Karma for what? I don’t remember ever hearing about anything bad or terrible she has done to anyone? The only things I’ve ever heard about were her being a drunk/drugged mess, but not harming anyone. One usually reserves the “karma’s a bitch” line for someone who has done bad things to others.

Tila Tequila’s ugly behavior was symptomatic of a female bisexual play-thing who designs her bisexuality to suit sleazy straight guys. In my view, it’s not about genuine bisexuality but, rather, about designing your sexuality to suit a third party. It’s disgusting.
When she had her bisexual dating show on MTV, no bisexual men were allowed. To my knowledge, it was only straight guys and bisexual women. LOL. This proved that MTV’s show had a homophobic double standard and that possibly Tila herself had stipulated that no bisexual men be allowed on it.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Tila’s boyfriend had also said “no bi guys”. If that’s the case, just goes to show that I’ve been right about the relationship between sleazy straight guys and their bisexual female enablers. They’re disgusting, the lot of them.

Can I just ask what she did to deserve such scorn and hatred when she’s going through potentially life threatening health problems? She’s goofy and silly yes, but what she’s going through I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. She has my prayers. Those who don’t believe, fine, but maybe at least good wishes would be cool too.

@jason: On her MTV show all the male contestants were identified as straight and all the women contestants as lesbian. In Nov. 2009 she said on twitter she wasn’t bisexual after all she’s a lesbian and wikipedia fell for it (or may be they just don’t care). And while I think it’s absurd that wikipedia still lists Tila Tequila is a “lesbian writer” she is a lot more queer than Andrea Dworkin ever was. I mean at least she actually has sex with women sometimes.
