Tim Pawlenty Won’t Be The First Republican Presidential Hopeful To Be Dragged Around Iowa By Bob Vander Plaats

Tim Pawlenty, the former Republican Minnesota governor who really wants to be elected America’s dictator in 2012, is going to be running around Iowa with Bob Vander Plaats, president and CEO of The Family Leader, who you know better as the guy who helped oust three State Supreme Court justices over that whole marriage thing. Vander Plaats has organized a three-event lecture circuit for Pawlenty on Monday, where he’ll hit up a Christian high school and the University of Iowa. And when Pawlenty is done, he’ll have some notable successors: Rep. Michele Bachmann, former Sen. Rick Santorum, and former House Speaker Newt Gingrich will all be joining BVP’s run around the state in the spring. BVP has an invite out to Ron Paul, Mike Huckabee, and good old Sarah Palin, so you know we’re in for some fun.
