To Celebrate Their Fifth Anniversary, Alan Cumming Gets Married To Partner Grant Shaffer In NYC

Though theater star Alan Cumming got a civil union with partner Grant Shaffer in England five years ago, he wanted to make his anniversary in New York extra-special.

Taking advantage of New York’s recently legalized gay marriage law, the couple held a ceremony at the Soho Grand Hotel.

Over the weekend, Cumming tweeted: “I just got married!!!!! On the 5th anniversary of our wedding in London Grant and I tied the knot again in NYC!!! #eatmericksantorum.”

Oh Alan, you cheeky devil.
