We know what you’re thinking…another day, another Tom Daley post on Queerty. The Olympic diver can do no wrong in our eyes. When he’s not being snapped naked in the shower, he’s out motivating young people to make the world a better place.
Three months after revealing he was in a relationship with another man, the 19-year-old was named the biggest sporting inspiration to UK teenagers at a National Citizen Service event in London.
“It’s amazing to be part of all the amazing effort you are putting in, so keep up the good work,” Daley said in a pre-recorded message that was played at the ceremony held over the weekend.
National Citizen Service strives to boost the confidence, teamwork, and leadership skills of young people in the U.K. To date, over 70,000 youth haven taken part in social action and volunteer opportunities in their communities through the program.

he still hasn’t said the words gay or bi….headline should say ‘British’ in it- I can think of many Americans who were more inspirational last year as far as LGBT recognition goes….I’m sure my cyber staler will have a field day slamming me over this.
