The GOP frontrunner has announced that if he’s president (‘yuge if), any Supreme Court nominee he presents will be pre-approved by the Heritage Foundation, an antigay, anti-immigrant think tank.
Trump says he’ll be releasing a list of ten prospective nominees, all of whom have been hand-selected through the group.
It’s a move that squarely shuts down the idea that Trump is more of a centrist on social issues like gay marriage and abortion.

“I’m going to submit a list of justices, potential justices of the United States Supreme Court, that I will appoint from the list,” Trump said Monday in Washington, D.C. “I won’t go beyond that list. Some people say maybe I’ll appoint a liberal judge. I’m not appointing a liberal judge.”
The Heritage Foundation was founded in 1973 by conservative businessmen and politicians who thought Nixon was too liberal. Since then it has moved even further to the right, and has grown into a massive organization with revenues topping $100 million.
The organization came under scrutiny in 2013 after a senior fellow who wrote a report on immigration was revealed to have previously stated that Blacks and Hispanics are intellectually inferior.

I think I (personally) would rather have as positive an outlook as possible when it comes to judges who will be deciding the future of constitutional law when it comes to our civil rights. Rights which are still not guaranteed to many of us under state laws (much less federal laws).
I think the whole issue on this presidential race comes down to the lesser of evils some times. I don’t 100% agree with any candidate. I certainly have problems with a republican platform that states that it is against gay marriage/gay rights. I think whether it’s at the “top” of his agenda of things to do is immaterial. If legislation comes across the man’s desk to support us or deny us rights which way do you think he will vote? A law will be passed (put forth by Congress), passed by the president, and if unconstitutional we will have to wait for it to go to SCOTUS (possibly years) to be struck down. Not something to look forward to. Also, if the justices are overwhelmingly conservative (aka. Heritage Foundation chosen) we don’t stand a chance in hell.

Like I eluded to you on the previous comment…no one is agreeing/siding with you on anything you say. They know of your previous comments regarding children/consent and they want nothing to do with you. I know it’s difficult for you to pick up on every nuance of every sentence that a person types to you but do try, otherwise these posts will be pages long.
Your constant insistence on “dual” screen names is interesting. Since my writing style is very distinct from others on this site I would say that that your “assumption” is incorrect. That’s ok though Tobi…just like your constant referral to Aliens and such I’m sure it gives you comfort. Just like you have difficulty believing that a person (in their mid-50’s) could have many life experiences (when you are obviously very sheltered) doesn’t detract from the truthfulness of another’s statements.

@Tobi: Sorry dear. Forgot to say (and please do forgive me), I hope that the therapy is going well for your lack of parental supervision in your younger years. I know it was rather wild and unsupervised (as you have previously stated) that as a 13 year old you had wild, unsupervised sex with “hunky 30+ year old” men. I do hope that some day you overcome that trauma. I can only hope that with the therapy and the Lithium things will get better.
