TTYL TRL

MTV canceled Total Request Live after ten years, the show will end it's run in November. For TRL's first few years it was the center of the pop music world, with it's peak being 1999. When I was in high school every kid watched TRL after school and I'm curious to see what will replace it.

I remember TRL as the beginning of the end for MTV. Right about then they started regulating just how much music was on the actual station and started in with The Real World. I also was never into TRL's taste in music.

Still, with it gone I seriously wonder if there's any cause left for the "M" to remain in MTV.

MTV is all crap now.

The channel went into the toilet when they stopped showing videos for sleazy reality shows.
