Two Trans Women Stoned By Migrants In Germany

Two transwomen were stoned in the street by violent migrants in Germany.

50-year-old Yasmine and 37-year-old Elisa were accosted in Dortmand, Germany by migrants who allegedly verbally abused them in Arabic before physically assaulting them. The migrants said “such people” should be killed, and grabbed the women’s breasts and pulled their hair before police got involved.

The women are known only by their first names, and Yasmine called their attackers “barbarians.” They recalled the horrifying details of the attack to a German news crew, though they wouldn’t allow their faces to be fully shown for fear of further harassment. The story and translated quotes were picked up by conservative-leaning news outlet Breitbart:

“Within seconds we were tossed around… and they took stones from a gravel bed on the corner and threw them at us.”

There’s no word on whether the men are a part of the controversial influx of refugees into Germany, but LGBT people have been particularly vulnerable overseas lately.

ISIS has executed dozens of gay men in Syria, and in Germany one gay refugee was verbally and physically abused by other refugees, including one who tried to burn his feet in the middle of the night.

The three North African suspects have been arrested, but Yasmine and Elisa remain terrified and say they haven’t left home since the incident.
