Tyler Perry Settles At Least One Set of Rumors About Him

Just like the Spike Lee situation, I feel that ‘no response’ is the best response. I’m just gonna leave it at that… But I will tell you this … there is absolutely no truth to the rumor that I’m suing The Boondocks. Those are all lies. I’m not suing anybody over that. And I haven’t fired anyone because of that show, either. I don’t know where all that came from.

I don’t believe him at all.

Someone in is camp went after Turner Broadcasting over that Boondocks episode! Isn’t it a strange coincidence that we can no
longer find that particular episode on youtube? (despite there being other FULL episodes of the show on youtube).

His people tried to shut it down, and I will always believe that,
despite what Miss Perry says.

Tyler Perry is a gay man who does not want his gayness to limit his income and celebrity.

A choice I dare say many have made in the past and will continue to make in the future.

My ‘gaydar’ is mediocre to poor at best. But it goes to full scale alert whenever I look at this man.

He wants to stay closeted. That’s his right.

But he also is going to have to deal with the ramifications of living that lie. Both publicly and personally.

He has created his own dilemma.

Ive never seen any of Perry’s movies, because they look so juvenille and stupid, but whenever Ive seen him in interviews, my gaydar goes into full throtle. No matter how hard he tries to hide behind Oprah (or maybe even because of it), the man is a big ol’ homosexchul.

@Black Pegasus: don’t be ridiculous after all the publicity about it the reason you won’t find it on youtube is because they took it down, for copyright infringement…
Turner doesn’t want to lose money by allowing it to be on youtube that will kill their dvd sales when they finally release it…
No movie or series stays on youtube for long!!!!

I totally do not think Tyler Perry is gay…I mean, only a straight man would create a movie series about a sassy trash talking older black woman where, instead of casting one of the MANY fantastic actresses out there who could play that part, he decides to dress up in drag himself to work that role. I mean seriously, what straight man DOESN’T think that he can slip on a pair of heels and be a woman better than an experienced female actress. With each Medea Movie Miss Perry just gets more and more butch…doesn’t he? Will he be going stag to the Oscars this year…or will he be bringing his mom?
