@TheRealAdam: I’m going to agree with you on Tyler Perry’s creative output…

Hilton Als did a long profile of Mr. Perry in the NewYorker a few years ago, and critiqued TP’s films, themes, outlook, etc., but he never did bring up, overtly, the topic of Tyler’s (presumed?) orientation.

I’ve only seen three of his movies, so there may be gems I haven’t discovered, but I think his views boil down to: women=good; men=bad.
