Ugandan Parliament Makes Anti-Homosexuality Bill First Order Of Business Today

Joe. My. God. sent us what appears to be today’s schedule for the Ugandan Parliament, and the first bit of business is the anti-homosexuality bill, which may or may not still contain a death-penalty provision. We’ll follow up as more information becomes available.

Yeah, none of those other things on the list look important AT ALL! And who’d have guessed there was such a thing as the “African Space Research Program”?

No. 7 is particularly irritating, however — naturally they’ve got their hands out to “borrow” money from the World Bank for something as basic as water, but no doubt they’d get offended if there were conditions put on it such as, don’t torture and kill your gay people.

@the other Greg: Don’t you know criticising anything an African nation does makes you a colonialist pigdog racist?

They should get no money while promoting bigotry, the government of Uganda should have no input into the distribution of wealth or development of infrastructure for the people of the nation, they are not capable of managing any amount of money, they are corrupt and worthless and deserve no part in an improved lot for the people.

Yeah, they sure make it clear as day they don’t want any western influence while they have their thieving hands out for the $. We should do like the UK did and just cut them off. I believe they said they didn’t need our help anyways.
