If it’s true, then good for her.
now, that luxury condo in New York.. it’s eleven bucks a month? or eleven hundred?
either way, that ain’t no “luxury condo” price.
uh, the National Enquirer has a reputation for making stuff up, with several celebrities having successfully sued them for it over the years. you probably shouldn’t believe anything they print, much less re-print it …
@spooge bob: Actually, the NE has had more journalistic integrity than most newspapers for the last 5-10 years. They have broken many stories, and are normally spot on now. So, there is a very good chance this story is backed up by lots of evidence and speaks the truth.
She could do a lot worse than Azmarie. Loved it when she said no to tyra’s stupidity.
NATIONAL ENQUIRER and other ‘bloids don’t out celebs who are straight. If anything, they withhold info on closeted celebs, sometimes for fear of legal repercussions, sometimes in exchange for participation in stories. I have no doubt Raven was informed about this story and threw up her hands. But she didn’t “just come out” because so far, it’s just a story about her being gay. Until she says “yep,” she’s just been outed.
The National Enquirer…LOL. That’s a source you can believe in.
They’d make a great couple. Hope it’s true.
Stop posting trash and rumors from magazines like the National Enquirer and you’ll get more readers.
A lot of gay women, Waz the big news?
That would be $11,000. a month. This is NYC!

Actually that isn’t true. They were nominated for a Pullitzer Prize for breaking the Edwards Story and every celeb that they have “Outed” turned out to be gay. Clay Aiken, Ricki Martin, Rosie O’Donnell, etc…
A recent study said that their accuracy was the same as other newspapers.
The lawsuits you are talking about are from something like 30 years ago.
I don’t think it does much good for celebrities to be outed, except for an increase in visibility and the representation that we are contributing, valuable people. Jodie Foster or John Travolta being outed unwillingly still suggests that their sexuality is something the aren’t proud of and want to hide, so a reluctant hero through a twisting of someone’s arm almost demonstates the opposite of the desired “pride” and value of representation as being a positive assest. That said, it is so great when people come out willingly, knowing their representation will reduce hate and misunderstanding. It’s a sad fact too, that most people don’t come out,not because of fear of retribution or self-loathing or whatever, but because they opperate from the guiding principal of the pocketbook.
The Enquirer was not nominated for a Pulitzer. The Pulitzer committee merely determined that the Enquirer was “eligible” to compete for a Pulitzer for reporting. That’s hardly the same thing.
And the Enquirer has reported on dozens of supposedly gay celebrities over the years who have not been proven to be gay (Will Smith, Hulk Hogan, Pink, Drew Barrymore, Kirstie Alley, etc.) They throw crap at the wall so they can take credit in those rare instances where they happen to be right.
“Um, Did Raven-Symone just come out of the closet?” Um, no. You just posted a story from the National Enquirer as if it were spoken from Raven’s mouth. Whether they have it right or not; she didn’t say it. GROW UP. There are too many stories on this site that now appear to be written by gossipy teenagers as opposed to even semi-serious journalists.
@Chris: EXACTLY… I can’t believe so many people give any credit to the Enquirer. Getting one out of 50 stories right doesn’t give you credibility. I remember when The View had an editor of the enquirer on about a year ago and both Barbara and Whoopi confronted the editor about false stories they printed about them and all he could say was “oops we usually have reliable sources and double/triple check”… yea right.
That’s So Raven! lol can’t believe no one wrote that yet!
@TheMarc: @Chris: @saxo:
thank you. the national inquirer, tmz, and mediatakeout among a few others only take what they see and run with it. queerty could update this story with Raven’s response to these rumors which basically says, it’s her business. Leave it alone. if she is, she’lll come out when she’s ready and if not, that’s it.
Wait a minute we always call drag queens “girls” don’t we? What’s the problem here.
