Good for him! He needs all the help he can get.
Not saying he has either, but if a politician needs 'energy supplements' to get through the day…time to retire?
He's admitted taking Ambien to help him sleep, and now he's taking Neuro-1 to perk himself up (or treat his senile dementia). We need this? At least Reagan wasn't getting all Alzheimersy until later in his second term; mccain'd be out-of-pocket from the get-go, leaving us with President Caribou.
mccain-palin is a total train wreck in terms of policy and character. We don't really need the medical rumors, the adultery rumors, the tax-dodging rumors, or the drug problems as reasons not to vote for them–but it doesn't hurt.
Many, many 70-somethings (like McCan't) whom I know say McCan't is too old to be president, but one shouldn't generalize.
He's using a supplement for Alzheimer's and dementia? Seems to be working – he's showing symptoms of both. And EMB, you obviously missed the first Reagan-Mondale debate (possibly before your time, what do I know?) It was scary, but that was the real Reagan, near the end of his first term – a confused, tired and disoriented man who couldn't understand why those people wouldn't stop bothering him with all these pesky questions about who-knows-what and just let him go to bed.
