Utah Lawmaker Pulls Gay-Marriage Bill
“[Openly lesbian State] Rep. Jackie Biskupski, D-Salt Lake City, [wants] to repeal a part of the amendment that says the state won’t give the same legal rights that marriage bestows to any other domestic union. Biskupski says she still thinks the amendment should be repealed, but that other gay rights bills making their way through the Legislature will have a better chance of succeeding if she stops pursuing her bill.”[AP]
Personally I think they should presue ALL of them because none really have a great chance of making it through.
The mildest of the bunch was just voted down.
Gotta keep hitting them with everyone and be as relentless as the Repubs are.
