Vanity Fair Hopes You Aren’t Bored With These 2 Yet
OH SNAP — Milk director Gus Van Sant and star Sean Penn appear in Vanity Fair‘s Oscar issue, which pairs directors with their stars.
In the accompanying copy, Van Sant explained the, ahem, prosthetic penises that were consructed for a sex scene that never made the final cut. “[The actors] kind of dug them actually. They wanted to do the scenes because they wanted to have these things on.”
That’s kind of disturbing, that the actors actually wanted these prosthetic dicks because they enjoyed having them!? Hollywood sure has changed hasn’t it?
i looked at this story on towelroad this morning, it was nice and then i moved on. whatever. theyre pictures. and now im at queerty later in the day and of course you had to have some smartass headline about it.

Is it me, or is Sean Penn pulling off a hypermasculine James Dean look to re-instate his heterosexuality?
