Vermont Supreme Court: Janet Jenkins Can Keep Custody Of Non-Biological Daughter (When/If She Returns)

miller-jenkins

Even though biological mother Lisa Miller and daughter Isabella are nowhere to be found (something about escaping to El Salvador with the help of the Alliance Defense Fund?), the Vermont Supreme Court upheld last year’s family court ruling awarding sole custody to Janet Jenkins, Miller’s now-former ex who, unlike Miller, remains a lesbian. Fleeing the country in violation of a court order probably doesn’t help your case.

It’s Lisa that’s on the lam, not Janet, which your (again) faulty headline fails to get right. These things (such as facts) are important in a story.

@edgyguy1426: Actually, the headline was correct. It said that Janet would have custody of the daughter if/when she returns. The ‘she’ in the headline is the daughter, not Lisa.
