How great that the self appointed Gay elite of journalists and politicians can be so generous using our community’s name “gay dollars” with their money to fund the campaign of a man who views us as deserving of only some of the rights and not all that he and his wife and children enjoy because of his faith.
At first I was annoyed by this, but now I think it’s great. Of course, all GLBT folk should vote for Obama. Of course, none of them should give his campaign a dime. All of the sexual minority community leaders who are legitimizing the GayTM mentality with this site have done nothing but harm by refusing to ask Obama a single tough question or acknowledge that in key ways the DNC has moved backwards on our issues.
And this site- which apparently allows for no dissent or discussion– makes it obvious how completely corrupt and useless these gay traitors have become. This is going to be useful the next time they tell us that having equal worth as citizens is something we can forego so that Leah can get more bigots to the convention.
Either there are backroom deals in place that will not be tossed out the window once the Dems are in power (in defiance of every historical precedent), or the idiocy of these so called leaders will be so obvious that some new gay ones who care as much about our issues as they do about getting Dems in office may actually appear.
