Vote For The Best Nightlife, Community Events And More In Cities Across America

It’s election season and GayCities and Coors Light want you to vote for the people and events around America that are so cool, they’re the “Coldest”!

Our local experts in Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco, Dallas and Columbus have nominated candidates in five categories—Community Event, Sports Team, DJ, Entertainer and Night Out—and we want you to pick the winners!

Voting for the Community Event category is open through August 21. And unlike the presidential elections you don’t have to schlep down to your local high school or wait in line to vote!

Each new category will be unlocked a week before voting for the previous election ends. (Up next: Sports teams!)

• Community Event: Voting starts July 31 and ends August 21
• Sports Team: Voting starts August 14 and ends September 4
• DJ: Voting starts August 28 and ends September 18
• Entertainer: Voting starts September 11 and ends October 2
• Night Out: Voting starts September 21 and ends October 16

There’s no residency requirements: Whether you live in one of these cities or just have a strong opinion, your voice can be heard! And unlike in November, there’s more to this election than picking a winner: Each time you vote, you’ll get the chance to choose from among a group of LGBT charities to receive a $10,000 grant from Coors Light.
