THE SHOT — Brooklyn illustrator Andy Swist’s latest project: creating paper dolls of all the vampire-loving characters on True Blood. Here’s giant homo Lafayette Reynolds, played by the excellent Nelsan Ellis. Not sure how long we can hold out to play dress up with Alexander Skarsgard’s Eric Northman. Because: damn.

I adore Lafayette and the show in general.
Um…Lafayette didn’t make it past book to in the Sookie Stackhouse novels. He was found dead in the back of Andy Bellfleurs car.

that is true Matt but I’m glad Mr Ball has decided to keep and further develop characters for the shows sake, Maryanne’s character is quite a departure from the books version lets appreciate some of the liberties being taken by the fascinating creative mind of Alan Ball!!! ps season three is in the works!!!!!!!!!!
Am I the only one wanting a Lafayette/Godrick pairing? They’re the two hottest fellas on the show by far, especially now that Rene’s gone.

@uffda: Hell yes, it would. Godrick’s definitely got a touch of the queer on him, and I think seeing their personalities interacting would be quite interesting.
