It looks like up-and-coming gay-porn actor Andy Taylor may have been arrested at Charlotte-Douglas International Airport after he assaulted a woman on a US Airways flight on Saturday.
WBTV reports that South Carolina native Blake Jones, 22, assaulted a 53-year-old Cleveland woman while the plane was still waiting to taxi on the runway. The cause of the altercation is unknown.
Jones was booked in the Mecklenburg County jail on Saturday evening at 7:42 p.m. He was released at 10:38 a.m. Sunday morning.
He is facing charges of assault on a female by a male at least 18 years of age and resisting arrest. He was released on a $2,000 bond.
As he shown in the tweet at right, Taylor’s real name is indeed Blake Jones. And he did tweet last week that he’d be flying on Saturday.
The physical resemblance between Taylor’s publicity photo and Jones’ mug shot is pretty uncanny, but we’ve reached out to the young adult-film star for confirmation.
How about we take this to the next level?

Queerty????
Since when is it OK to out a porn star’s real name?
So what if it is him?
Falls under the category of none of our business.

So what’s the big issue with his real name. If you don’t want people to know who you are it’s simple enough – don’t put yourself out there.

@Caine:
WAIT A MINUTE, “CAINE”?!
You’re getting on Queerty for outing his real name?! Considering the fact that he may have unjustly attacked a woman almost 2.5 times his age, does he deserve such respect? NO, he doesn’t!!!
Furthermore, I have a porn past myself, and if you google my name, “LeNair Xavier”, one source or another will EASILY lead you to finding my old porn name, “Tre Xavier”. And why would I hide it? For the face is still the same. The tattoo on my left arm is still the same. It’s all there. Like “mcflyer54” said, if you don’t want people to know who you are, don’t put yourself out there.
If a porn actor doesn’t want their real name so easily outed, they shouldn’t do stupid things to make it so. Because if you take note of the track records of porn actor’s real names being exposed, it’s usually after they’ve done something foolish.

Perhaps the woman didn’t like his films? Everyone’s a critic nowadays yaknow.

“WBTV reports that South Carolina native Blake Jones, 22, assualted…”
Many years ago, the word “allegedly” was used in news reports on crime because the accused was — and still is — presumed innocent until proven guilty.
The quality of news journalism continues to deteriorate because the public doesn’t demand anything better. Queerty is doing research by sifting through Twitter posts, and that’s about as silly as it gets.
Considering the sensational nature of the above article, I won’t assume the quote from WBTV is accurate. I will assume Queerty is insulting our intelligence and showing a disregard for the privacy of everyone concerned.

@Ann Mason: I couldn’t agree more. Journalism has reached new lows. No one verifies facts. Everyone assumes guilt or innocence with no burden of proof and posts as such.
@LeNair Xavier: Just because you did a couple of porn videos in your time does not mean you know the circumstance of every other porn actor. There are, having had several in the past myself, stalkers out there who will either try to harm or break into a porn star’s home if they are able to discern their real names and info.
How do you know the lady didn’t start it? (Probably not) Maybe she called him a nasty faggot and he just slapped her. That would be considered assault. Not that I condone violence but the old cunt may have deserved it. As Virgil in, “To Wong Fu: Thanks For Everything, Julie Nemar,” says, “Some ladies need to be hit.” Her verbal assault could have led to a physicality. (LOL)
That last comment of mine being as absurd as yours in assuming his guilt or that it even actually took place as thus reported with no burden of proof.

Hi Ann, This will sound weird, but you are correct and so are they.
You are correct because absolutely innocent until proven guilty is still the standard. However, they are playing a tricky semantics game. They aren’t technically reporting on the assault. They are reporting that some OTHER station reported it. Sleazy I know, but that is how they would defend it. Leaves a bad taste I know.

@Caine:
EXCUSE ME?!?!?!?!? Since when are actors real names protected in the media as if they were rape victims or underage?
Just because a stage name is chosen has nothing to do with how the news can report on the crime.
I am curious about what happened. Is this an out of control young drunk guy on a plane, or is this some old bigot saying anti-gay comments who came at him but the arresting officers were anti-gay and are blaming him. You just can’t know at this point.
John Doe
The “logic” behind keeping his name hidden is ridiculous. He was arrested under his REAL NAME.
Chad Hunt
@John Doe: No one is saying to keep his name hidden, what is being said is disclosing both his porn name and real name together can prove hazardous to an individual. It would have been fine to say that Blake Jones who has worked in gay porn was arrested but then using his porn name also opens him up to all kinds of discrimination, stalking, etc.
William
And so it begins. Can we just skip to the part where he is found dead with a needle in his arm in some sleazy Vegas motel after being missing for three days. What a shame.
