Was Fred Karger Blocked From Iowa GOP Forum Because He’s A Homogay?

In a complaint filed with the Federal Election Commission, gay Republican presidential hopeful Fred Karger alleges the Iowa Faith and Freedom Coalition has barred him from participating in its March 7 GOP forum simply because he’s gay. Steve Scheffler, the group’s president, says the claim is “specious and utterly without merit.” The group invited 15 political contenders, four of whom have accepted.
