Was ‘Grappling’ The Best Word Choice To Describe Barack Obama’s New Feelings For The Gays?

With Barack Obama denouncing the Defense of Marriage Act as unconstitutional, it fell on his new Press Secretary Jay Carney to describe how the president is now dealing with his thoughts on gay marriage. He is “grappling” with it, Carney says. Or, as Jon Stewart explains, he wants to make sweet, sweet nasty love to it.

Well he claims he is evolving on this issue….if you’re going to say that, it might not be a good idea to have said that you supported it back in 1996 ;)

But probably neither. I’ve actually always believed he has always been on the side of equality for all, just not able to say or push it too fast. It must be like tip-toeing in a political minefield.. baby steps so as not to wake the monsters, ’cause there are some big ones out there.
